About this coffee:
Fazenda Santa Lúcia, led by Hélcio Carneiro Pinto, has a long-standing history in the coffee industry. Hélcio's passion for coffee began at the early age of 15 when he joined his mother in the production and processing of crops. Taking over the management of Santa Lúcia after marrying Glycia Pereira Carneiro in 1976, Hélcio played a pivotal role in shaping the pursuit of quality coffee in the Carmo de Minas region.
In the 1990s, Hélcio co-founded Aprocam, a group that spearheaded the introduction of pulped natural processing in Carmo de Minas. This innovative approach revolutionized coffee production in the region. As a trailblazer, Hélcio was the first producer to acquire the necessary machinery for this processing method.
Committed to constant improvement, Hélcio has collaborated with universities, scientists, and has embarked on educational trips to coffee-producing countries. This dedication has furthered his knowledge and expertise in the art of producing specialty coffee.
Today, Fazenda Santa Lúcia stands as a renowned name in the coffee industry, known globally for its commitment to producing exceptional Brazilian coffees. Spanning across 740 hectares of land, with 83 hectares dedicated to coffee cultivation, Fazenda Santa Lúcia continues to uphold its reputation for delivering high-quality coffee beans.
